Let's Get Acquainted
This is a journey. One that each and every one of us is on. Life is precious and living it can be difficult. The gift of the power of choice that God has given us is a gift that should not be taken likely. For me, like many of us, living this life is not without its tribulations. This blog is about discussing and building spiritual fitness. I’m on a spiritual journey to live a strong God-fearing life. As I’ve lived, I’ve tried to make some sense of my life. Who am I? What is my purpose? How do I survive this world? Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior paid in blood on the cross to give us salvation and all the answers we need to survive. The choice of salvation or damnation is a personal one.
I choose salvation. I decided to blog to share my experiences as a new child in Christ. The journey to get to following the teachings of Jesus Christ can be long. I recognize that as people we need love. There is no love, not the love of a spouse or parent or friend that can outdo the love God has for us. His love is the greatest love. It took me some time to accept that for myself. Everyone has their own story, their own journey, their own choice.
We exercise our bodies for physical strength with hopes of a long healthy life. We exercise our minds with education with hopes of higher intellect for a greater understanding of life. But the soul needs strengthening too. Our spirits are always welcoming of love. Nothing in this world, no amount of money or material possessions can satisfy our need for love. More Spiritual Fitness is about sharing God’s love and building a strong bond to our Heavenly Father.
